What accomplishment/project/area of work is your specialty or makes you proud?
Developing methods and making them as easy as possible for future testing all while ensuring the methods are precise and accurate.
Are there any special organizational strategies you use to be efficient at work?
I use the end of my day to prepare for the next day, such as labeling, collection of glassware and reviewing of methods. I do a mock run through of the test to make sure I have everything I need for the next day such as filters, sinkers, syringes and any product specific material.
What are your team’s latest achievements?
A few months ago my group received a new client, we were tasked with validating an Assay and impurities method and developing a dissolution and moisture method with a tight deadline. Since there was a big difference between the highest and lowest strength, it was quite difficult to create a dissolution method that worked for all 4 strengths. However, my group was able to successfully develop a moisture and dissolution method and validated the assay and impurities method for four different strengths with time to spare.
How do you think those accomplishments might impact the contract pharmaceutical industry and the industry at large?
My group displayed efficiency and accuracy while working with a new client by ensuring our write ups were real time reviewed daily and completing testing upon the request of the client. The client enjoyed our work so much that they contracted my group for another product, I believe my group help solidify the business relationship between the two companies.
